It was revealed that in the Tabriz region of the Islamic Republic of Iran the\ntotal amount of selenium in the poultry food and water was respectively\n0.052+/-0.006 mg/kg and 0.008+/-0.001 mg/l. It is less than norm accepted in\nliterature for poultry. That why selenium supplementation in the food\nallowances of poultry can positively effect on level of their productivity.

The paper considers the inverse problem of finding a time-dependent heat\nsource in a parabolic equation with the nonlocal boundary condition. Under\nsome assumption on the data the existence and uniqueness of the solution are\nshown by using the generalized Fourier method. Numerical procedure of this\nproblem is given by using finite-difference method.

Objective: To explore the predictive value of aspartate aminotransferase-to-platelet ratio index (APRI), γ-glutamyltranspeptidase to-platelet ratio index (GPRI) and model for end-stage liver disease (MELD) scores in hepatic failure patients after hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) resection. \nMethods: A total of 317 patients undergoing HCC resection were collected and then divided into the hepatic failure group and the non-hepatic failure group. Clinical data and results of laboratory variables were all reviewed. Differences between these two groups were then analysed by using Student’s t test and the chi-square test. And then receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was used to assess the accuracy and predictive value of pre-operative APRI, GPRI and MELD scores\nResults: Statistically significant differences were respectively found in the mean of APRI (9.60 ± 8.67 vs 3.43 ± 3.99, P = 0.006), GPRI (19.71 ± 22.92 vs 5.20 ± 5.40, P = 0.013) and MELD score (8.59 ± 4.71 vs 5.72 ± 4.54, P = 0.008) between these two groups. The occurrence rate of postoperative hepatic failure was over 19% in patients with higher APRI (≥4.9) or GPRI (≥13.0) compared to patients with lower scores (P < 0.05). The AUC of APRI (0.851 ± 0.056) and GPRI (0.812 ± 0.061) in predicting hepatic failure after hepatectomy were higher than MELD (0.737 ± 0.067). The cutoff value of APRI, GPRI, and MELD scores were 4.9, 13.0, and 7.3, respectively. The occurrence rate of postoperative hepatic failure was over 19% when patients have higher APRI (≥4.9) or GPRI (≥13.0), compared with patients have lower scores (P < 0.05). \nConclusion: APRI and GPRI are more appropriate than MELD in predicting post-operative hepatic failure, and GPRI has the best performance in the three scores.

Objective To study the expressions of osteopontin (OPN)，P53，VEGF in the HBV related HCC tissue specimens and the relationships between the OPN expression and the early recurrence and prognosis of the HCC after radical resection. Methods The 237 HBV related HCC specimens originated from the radical hepatectomy patients. The expressions of OPN，P53，VEGF in the 237 HBV related HCC tissues were examined by tissue microarray and two-step immunohistochemistry methods of PV-6000 and the expressions of OPN mRNA were examined in the frozen HCC specimens by the RT-PCR . Results All patients were followed up , the following up time were 1.3～102 months, the median time were 43 months. The 55 patients after radical hepatectomy recurred in the early time , of the total hepatic recurrence rate was 56 %（31/55）and the extrahepatic metastasis rate was 44%（24/55） , but 89 patients recurred in the long term, of the total hepatic recurrence rate was 79.8%（ 71/89 ）and the extrahepatic metastasis rate was20.2 %（ 18 /89 ）. The positive expression of OPN in the HCC tissues, paracacinoma tissues and liver cirrhosis tissues were 37%（88/237）,17%（14/81）和14%（11/79），It have the statistical significance by compared the expression of the HCC tissue with the expression of the paracacinoma tissues and liver cirrhosis tissues（χ2= 12.44, 16.53，both P＜0.001）.The positive expression rate of OPN mRNA was 37.5% (15/40). The OPN positive rate is 51%（28/55）in the early recurrence group, 33.7 %（30/89）in the early no recurrence group and 30.9%（29/93）in the no recurrence group, It have the statistical significance by compared the expression of the short time recurrence group with the non-short time recurrence group and the no recurrence group t（χ2= 4.181, 5.679，both P＜0.05）. The P53 positive rate in the HCC tissue is 25.7%（61/237）, the VEGF is 77.2%（183/237）, the positive expression rate of P53 and VEGF in the OPN positive group is higher than the OPN negative group, both have the statistical significance（χ2= 4.181、5.679，both P<0.05）。The The positive expression rate of OPN decreased in the listed below patients: the serum AFP≥400μg/L, satellite focis, vessel tumor embolism , histological median and low classification, Ⅲ-Ⅳstage in the TNM staging（all P<0.05）. The tumor early recurrence rate（31.8%, 28/88） in the positive expression of OPN group was higher than the negative group(18.1%, 27/149）（χ2=5.624, P=0.016）；The median survival time in the positive expression of OPN group was 49.6 months and was shorter than the negative group（χ2= 5.916，P=0.015）. The positive expression of OPN was the independent facter for the HCC early recurrence and the overall survival time. Conclusions The positive expression of P53 and VEGF is higher in the positive expression group of OPN, and the positive expression OPN in HCC tissues implys the higher extrahepatic metastases rate, the early recurrence and poor prognosis after radical radical hepatectomy in the HBV related HCC patients .

We consider a special tridiagonal matrix and then compute its spectrum. Firstly we show that determinant of the matrix satisfies a period second order recurrence system. We explicitly determine spectrum of the matrix by using generating function method. Finally we give trigonometric factorizations of the Lucas sequences as applications of our results.

The timing and indications about fenestration closure have not been clarified. We presented here an 11-year-old girl presented 5 years after one-staged Fontan with fenestration, cyanotic with her percutaneous saturation of 79%, low PVR from catheterization. During catheterization, cardiac surgeons and our cardiologists together decided to try closing the fenestration because the well functioning heart was thought the reason although her PVR was very low. Actually We were right! She recovered smoothly with alleviated desaturation.\n We present the case here only to promote the percutaneous closure of such fenestration on condition that timing and indications about fenestration closure have not been clarified up to now, especially such intervention is not usually performed in the developing countries.

This article deals with the mathematical analysis of the inverse problem of identifying the distinguishability of input-output mappings in the linear time fractional inhomogeneous parabolic equation with mixed boundary conditions. By defining the input-output mappings the inverse problem is reduced to the problem of their invertibility. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the distinguishability of the input-output mappings. Moreover, the measured output data f(t) and h(t) can be determined analytically by a series representation, which implies that the input-output mappings can be described explicitly.

Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET) are the wireless networks of mobile computing devices without any support of a fixed infrastructure. The mobile nodes in a MANET organize themselves in a random manner over time. These networks can be applied between persons or between vehicles in areas which are depleted of fixed infrastructure. MANETs could thus be used in areas where highly secure applications are installed. In such cases security is a major concern. Zero Knowledge Protocols (ZKP) are methods of convincing the verifier, the prover’s knowledge of entity (secret, proof of theorem etc.). The authentication protocol that can be used to form Secure User Groups (SUG) employs a set of triples called Primitive Pythagorean Triples (PPT). The proposed method is designed to satisfy the properties of zero knowledge protocol and resists security attacks like man-in-the-middle attack, Denial of service (DoS) attack, Eavesdropping and replay attack.

In northern hemisphere of the Earth, affected by factors such as the orbit characteristics of Sun-synchronous satellite, source-observer position, solar azimuth, solar elevation angle and topographic relief while the sensors are imaging, topographic features of satellite images have false topographic perception phenomenon (FTPP). Although the traditional SRM-based HIS (HSV, HLS) transformation method can effectively remedy FTPP of remote sensing images, there exists a problem of serious distortion of spectral information. Firstly, this paper proposed a new SRM weighted by surface roughness FTPP correction method, and made effective FTPP correction for GeoEye-1 satellite RGB color images at both 2.5-meter and 10-meter spatial resolution. Then the SRM weighted by surface roughness method first converted a remote sensing image from RGB color space into HSV color space to obtain the color value data (V) of image. Besides, this paper took linear standardized surface roughness( )as weights of simulated northwest illumination shaded relief data and took 1- as weights of color value component (V) to sum up a new color value component (V’). Lastly, based on the new color value (V’), it transfered the image back from HVS to RGB format to achieve remote sensing image FTPP correction. Compared with SRM based HSV conversion FTPP correction method, this method takes into account of the influence of terrain factors on FTPP, that is, making effective FTPP correction in rugged areas while retaining most spectral information in flat terrains, namely, area of smaller surface roughness of the remote sensing images. Lastly, this paper proposed taking the variance of the color value (V) component used when HSV was retransformed to RGB color space and original color value (V) component value as the metric for a quantitative evaluation of the amount of image spectral information distortion after FTPP correction, and made a quantitative analysis of image spectral information distortion resulting from the two methods of FTPP correction – the SRM weighted by surface roughness and the traditional SRM based HSV transformation method. The results show: after FTPP correction for GeoEye satellite images at 2.5-meter spatial resolution by the two methods, the average distortion of spectral information were: -0.057715 and -0.110918 respectively; and relative standard deviation were 0.131862 and 0.247324 respectively. Image spectral distortion resulting from the use of SRM weighted by surface roughness method was reduced by 46.684511% compared with that of the latter. After FTPP correction for GeoEye satellite images at 10-meter spatial resolution by the two methods, the average distortion of spectral information were -0.066658 and -0.105606 respectively; and relative standard deviation were 0.153065 and 0.238166 respectively. Image spectral distortion resulting from the use of SRM-base weighted by surface roughness method was reduced by 35.731809% compared with that of the latter. Quantitative spectral information distortion results show that compared with the traditional SRM based HSV transformation method, the use of SRM weighted by surface roughness FTPP correction method retains more image spectral information and also has certain universality at different spatial scales.
