Background: Prostate cancer (PCa), represents the most commonly diagnosed type of malignancy among men in Western European countries, and the second cause of cancer-related deaths among men worldwide. Methylation of the CpG island has an important role in prostate carcinogenesis and progression.\nPurpose: The purpose of the study was to analyse the diagnostic value of aberrant promoter hypermethylation of gene glutathione S-transferase P1(GSTP1) in plasma DNA to discriminate between prostate cancer (PCa) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) patients by minimally invasive methods.\nMaterials and methods:Aberrant promoter hypermethylation was investigated in DNA isolated from plasma samples of 31 patients with diagnostic of PCa and 44 cancer-free males(control subjects).Extracted genomic DNA was bisulfite treated and analyzed using methylation-specific polymerase chain reaction(MS-PCR) technique.\nResults:Hypermethylation of GSTP1 gene was detected in plasma samples from 27 of 31(92.86%) patients with PCa.Genomic DNA from plasma samples from the 44 controls without genitourinary cancer, revealed promoter hypermethylation of GSTP1 gene in 3(10.6 %)of the 44 patients. Receiver operating curve (ROC) included clinico-pathological parameters such as: serum PSA levels, pathological stage, Gleason score, hypermethylation status of GSTP1 gene, and gave a predictive accuracy of 93% with a sensitivity and specificity of 95% and 87%, respectively.\nConclusion:In this study, we have evaluated the ability of GSTP1 gene to discriminate between PCa and BPH patients in genomic DNA from plasma samples,by non- invasive methods.
The aim of this study was to compare the ambiguity tolerance and sense of loneliness with responsibility of children in single and multi child families. The research method of this study was casual – comparative method. Statistical population is consisted of all secondary school female students of Tehran and the sample size is determined as 281 cases. To select the desire sample of students a multi-stage cluster sampling was used. Data collecting tool was the scale of responsibility questionnaire of Sanaei et al (1381), Asher loneliness scale of tolerance and the McLean’s (1993) tolerance of ambiguity questionnaires, respectively. In this research, independent T and logistic regression was used to test the hypotheses. Results from T tests of a couple of independent groups showed that with 5 percent of confidence we can say that there is no significant difference between children tolerance of ambiguity components (role-taking complexity and unresolved issues) in single and multi child families. Also with 95 percent one can say that there is no significant difference between the loneliness feeling and responsibility scales in single and multi child families. And finally in response to the contribution of each variable to separate children of single and multi child families, logistic regression analysis showed that in the prediction equation only role taking among all other predictor variables is significant and is able to predict this issue.
The rape is a plant originating from the Mediterranean basin, which due to its rich oil seeds, used in food and illuminated, was widespread during the Middle Ages in the Central and Nordic European countries.\nResult of the breeding researches, the rape currently occupies a very important place in the world economy as a source of vegetables oils used in food and especially in industry by creating alternative energy solutions.\nThe agronomic importance of rape is undeniable, it is considered one of the most productive crops, one of the best preceding plant for the most demanding culture and a good neighbor of wedge with crops attacked by the same disease.\nDuring the period 2010 - 2012, in the ARDS Secuieni conditions, was pursued the identification of harmful entomo-fauna from winter rape crops of Central Moldovian Plateau.\nThe harmful entomo-fauna collected during 2010 - 2012, in rape crops in the Agricultural Research - Development Station Secuieni territory was composed of 15 species which for entire period totaled 4046 specimens/sqm, of the following orders: Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Heteroptera and Lepidoptera. The Coleoptera order had the highest number of species and the highest number of collected specimens. From Coleoptera order, the Meligethes aeneus had the largest share (62.90%).\nThe collected species were integrated into the five classes of dominance (D1 - subrecedent species, D2 - recedent species, D3 - subdominant species, D4 - dominant species and D5 - eudominant species); the highest rate from the total of collected species, 62.90%, was registered to the D5 class - eudominant species.
Abstract:\nPersian Gulf region during the last decades of the new century, the most important region of the world and will continue to play an important role in international politics. There are many reasons for the importance of the Persian Gulf. First, the global oil and gas reserves in the Persian Gulf littoral states and lies and concentrates. In the new century provide.\nIn other words, the horizon of the world needs oil rich Persian Gulf region, there is another Enough energy to power industrial countries, especially the developing or developed in the U.S., Europe, Japan, China, Korea, and the Indian subcontinent to meet the new century. It is important to measure the effect of events such as wars, revolutions and rebellions, the area of oil and gas will continue to fail. Pressure on the consumer countries in the energy level of the international will to Persian Gulf the scene in such a compilation and in the framework of the carrier to the production energy sides and disorder entered serious basic interests to not damage their little not to enter \nIran is located at the center of strategic energy ellipse Middle East geopolitical areas and especially those versed in the political geography of the north side of the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea Oceanic Influence on India\'s fundamental role in the geopolitical strategies of international interaction Iran has brought. No doubt balance in the Persian Gulf is so broad in scope impacts the area in any structure a new geopolitical levels international vibrations may cause.
Abstract. Focusing on high-quality construction, and improving seismic performance of under-construction\nbuildings on one hand, and rapid elimination of housing shortages and/or other spaces and buildings required in\nthe country on the other hand, clarify application of the modern technologies instead of inefficient and\ntraditional systems. Hence, the main aim of this study is to reorganize, prioritize, and determine the status of full\nconstruction systems using industrial production methods.\nIn this study, each of the technologies has been evaluated from two main structural and architectural\nperspectives. In order to obtain the predefined objective, the main element of the research has been studied\nwithin the three criteria of quality, economy and speed. It is hoped that every technology will find its special\nposition in the building industry in terms of capability of construction and operation.\nWith due observance to the above mentioned subjects, and in accordance with the results of the present study,\ncommon construction methods in the country have not met demands of mass housing construction. Among\nindustrial construction systems, although Light Steel Frame (LSF) has obtained higher status than others have,\nhowever, it needs to be modified in order to improve its performance and obtaining better ranking among other\ntechnologies.
This study aimed to determine the relationship between personality characteristics and parenting styles with video computer games dependency among secondary students (males and females) in Ahvaz city. There were 872 participants from different educational regions of the city (four regions) which were selected via a multistage cluster method of sampling. The applied instruments included temperament-Character inventory (TCI-125), parenting styles Questionnaire (PSQ) and problematic video game playing test (PVGT). The achieved data was analysed by applying Pearson correlation as well as multivariate regression. Findings indicated significant relationships between personality characteristics and parenting styles with video-computer plays dependency. The best predictors of the plays dependency were self-directiveness, gender, novelty seeking and freedom-control dimensions, respectively. These results showed that high levels of self directiveness, novelty seeking and freedom-control lead to the plays dependency.
A financial crisis may be described by large decreases in the prices of stocks, real estate, or other assets.Namely, in an open economy, government budget deficit, as a negative public saving, raises real interest rates, crowds out domestic investment, decreases net capital outflow, decreases the level of asset prices, causes the domestic currency to appreciate. A decrease in aggregate demand causes output and prices to fall. The recession may further increase budget deficit.\n The basic aim of this paper is to provide a relatively simple chaotic saving growth model that is capable of generating stable equilibria, cycles, or chaos. \n A key hypothesis of this work is based on the idea that the coefficient π =β/( g+β+n-1) plays a crucial role in explaining local growth stability of the saving, where, n - net capital outflow as a percent of the real gross domestic product; g – government consumption as a percent of the real gross domestic product; β – the accelerator.
