This study analyses the impact of profitability (ROA), leverage (LEV) and corporate governance (DUAL and BS) on value creation of Real estate companies listed in the Saudi financial market (Tadawul). The study is carried out for the period 2015 – 2022. The panel data regression method is used to examine the impact of the aforementioned factors on value creation. Data consisting of a sample of 10 companies for the entire eight-year period represent the database for this study. Results obtained showed a strong significant positive relationship between leverage and board size on the one hand and value creation of a firm on the other hand. However, Profitability and CEO duality have a significant negative impact on value creation. Finally, firm size, as a control variable, negatively and significantly affects value creation. The findings are expected to have practical implications for directors and shareholders of firms operating in real estate sector and can help them in their decisions regarding financial performance and value creation.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the induced changes in curve of activity against time (Renogram) in unilateral rabbit\'s left kidney stenosis. Renal scintigraphy is a diagnostic technique imaging to evaluate the kidney and its function in which the special radioactive substance is injected intravenously. Renal activity is evaluated by gama camera machine and a curve of activity against time is plotted by computer. Changes in the shape of the renogram can be helpful in diagnosing renal diseases. Early diagnosis of renal stenosis can lead to appropriate therapy and so cause reduces involvement side effects. In order to evaluate the renogram of the left kidney stenosis, ten nonpregnant Germen female rabbits were chosen and the semi left renal artery was occluded by ligation. Scintigraphy was under anesthetic condition with using 99m-DTPA radiodrug .The radioactive substance was injected rapidly through the marginal ear vein. Immediately after intravenous injection of radiodrug scintigraphic operations were done and computerized dynamic scans were gathered to plot the renogram curve. The ROIs can be drawn in scans and radioactive counting was easily measured. In our results, the renograms showed that the graph of renal stenosis had not reached the maximum level and the evacuation phase was delayed. The percentage of radioactive substance reaching both kidneys had decreased and in the stenotic kidney it decreased drastically. It shows the stenosis status in comparison to the normal kidney. Thus scintigraphy and renograms could be used noninvasively and accurately to diagnose unilateral stenosis in the rabbit kidney.

Relay nodes are used in the transfer of the data packets to the base station (BS) via the sensor nodes (SN). The placement of RNs influences the lifetime and connectivity of a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) system. A traffic aware random deployment technique for the relay nodes is proposed in this paper. The scalability and traffic of the WSN are analyzed. A traffic aware RN selection is performed for both single hop and multi hop communication cases. Traffic based random deployment methods of RN, namely, lifetime-oriented deployment, and hybrid deployment, solve the issue of a short WSN lifetime and insufficient energy utilization. The trade-off between the lifetime extension and connectivity of SN in a WSN is considered in the performance analysis. The proposed method provides an efficient approach for the placement of RNs in a heterogeneous WSN.

In this paper, a systematic model for chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal using the ANAMMOX process was provided based on an experimental design. At first, the experimental data was collected from a combined biological aerobic/anaerobic reactor. For modelling and optimization of COD removal, the main parameters were considered, such as COD loading, ammonium, pH, and temperature. From the models,the optimum conditions were determined as COD 97.5 mg/L, ammonium concentration equal to 28.75 mg-N/L, pH 7.72 and temperature 31.3oC. Finally, the analysis of the optimum conditions, performed by the response surface method, predicted COD removal efficiency of 81.07% at the optimum condition.

Abstract\nLearner-oriented education is a spectrum that extends from the interaction between learner and teacher to pure learner-oriented education. This study uses a descriptive-analytical methodology to explore the views of the three main contributors of learner-oriented education, namely, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, John Dewey, and Jean Piaget. This study is an attempt to find the positions of these three personalities on learner-oriented education spectrum. The findings of this study show that all three personalities supported learner-oriented education and emphasized on its many attributes. These attributes provide learner the freedom of experimentation, interaction, and participation based on his needs, motivation, interest, and willingness that are driven by his talents and understanding. Learner-oriented education is like a color spectrum. It starts at the light end (A) and turns darker as education moves on the spectrum toward the other end (B). Each one of the three contributors has a position on this spectrum.

Since ancient, Chelidonium majus is well organized for its therapeutic values. Only recently, scientists have been aware of its new medicinal aspects. Regarding ongoing reports and new medicinal properties of this plant we were prompted to update Phytochemistry and pharmacology of C. majus. Data were gathered using of scientific books, journals, articles and websites including Pubmed, Scopus and Google Scholar up to 10th June 2012. C. majus extracts are important in drug development with numerous pharmacological functions in the western phytotherapy and in traditional medicines especially in China. C. majus is famous in traditional medicines for the treatment of gallstones and dyspepsia and various inflammatory diseases including atopic dermatitis and extensively used against various liver ailments. In addition, C. majus has recently been shown to have antiinflammatory, antimicrobial, antitumoral, anti-osteoporotic , antitussive, antiviral, antifungal, oncostatic, hepatoprotective, diuretic, and eye-regenerative, radioprotection, antioxidant ,cytotoxic effects, as well as anthelmintic ,phototoxic, algicide, cyanocide and cytostatic activities. The valuable therapeutic aspects of this plant are mostly correlated to the existence of isoquinoline alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolic acids and proteins. Due to the easy collection of the plant and remarkable biological activities, this plant has become a potent medicine in many parts of the world. This overview presents comprehensive analyzed information on the chemical and clinical aspects of C. majus.

Cereals and pulses are the most important food sources for supplying protein, calories, and energy especially for those who live in the developing countries. Analysis and survey of changes’ trend of these two products in the past can assist researchers to have a better and efficient programming. It seems that production policies of agricultural products in different countries from 1970 to 2009 are various and this difference can have dissimilar reasons. This report shows that Europe’s policies in production of cereals and pulses differ with other continents. While four other continents are increasing the cultivation and production of these two products, Europe decreases it. Certainly this issue requires more survey.

We present the case of a 30 years old patient (male) victim of a high speed car crush assisted by ED Craiova. Coma, severe head trauma, serious chest trauma with multiple rib fractures, bilateral lung contusions, pericardial fluid, multiple spine and pelvic unstable fracture, medullar injury, progressive shock, paroxysmal cardiac dysrhythmias. Increased levels of CKMB with atipical evolution for a myocardial contusion. Two cardiopulmonary arrest (asystole), both resuscitated.\nTaking into account the kinematics and severity of thoracic trauma, myocardial contusion was the first diagnostic hypotheses, but it was also considered the possibility of an acute coronary syndrome, toxicologic ethyology and the spinal cord damage as causes of cardiogenic shock and cardiac rhythm disturbance. \nThe association of neurotrauma, haemorrhage and pulmonary contusion limited treatment of an potential acute coronary syndrome, fast volume replacement and the possibilitys to assist ventilation, in context of shock and risk of secondary brain and spinal injury.\nSpecifying these contingencies determined the management orientation for both possible primary reperfusion and advanced management for neurotrauma.
