Manufacturers need to optimize operations. One of the best solutions for optimizing is achieving the highest possible degree of adaptability to lean manufacturing characteristics. The basic lean manufacturing elements include production flow, organizing, process control, measurement and supporting. Among these elements, measurement is of special significance. Measurement in lean manufacturing refers to determining the rate of adaptability in a system with lean manufacturing characteristics and hence, determining the degree of compatibility with criteria and characteristics of lean manufacturing, so manufacturers should constantly assess the degree of adaptability of their systems to lean manufacturing criteria.\nPurpose– The purpose of this paper is determining ATO systems leanness. Most previous studies have been done in Manufacturing To Order and Manufacturing To Stock industries, While The present study has been done in Assembly To Order or ATO industries.

A process of modern designing named Direct Strength Method (DSM) for the thin-walled steel sections with slender components has been investigated. Thus, by perfectly understanding the notions and the fundamental principles, a background has been provided for developing and codifying the Iranian regulations for designing the formed sections from the sheets with slender components. Subsequently, using this approach for predicting ultimate strength of slender sections needed conducting the numerical sustainable analysis. It is also required to determine the behaviour of elastic buckling of the corresponding member in a range of actions and reactions of local, distortion and general buckling modes which in order to simulate such this behaviour, the sections are analyzed through CUFSM software based on the finite strip method(FSM). \nAs an illustration, a sample of a thin walled section with slender components (C-shaped flange) is solved so as to compare the accuracy and precision of DSM relations, governing on the components of thin-walled members through considering the effect of limited stress factor (ρ) under the uniform pressure, with the regulations of designing thin-walled members based on the effective breadth method (AISI).

In this investigation, amodern process of designing named “Direct Strength Method” (DSM) for the columns with welded steel sections formed of the sheet with slender components under uniform compression based on AISC regulations has been developed and reviewed. A set of theoretical and software studies have been conducted on the welded slender sections of box and H shaped with theconventional steel sheets with the constant thickness of 8 (mm) and yield stress of 2400 (Mpa) in order to reach the ultimate strength of the aforementioned columns.Subsequently, using DSM for final predicting such sections like these needs numerical stability analysis and it is also required to determine the behavior of elastic buckling of the member in a range of actions and reactions related to local and general buckling modes. Hence it is mandatory for the sections to be analyzed through CUFSM software based on the finite strip method (FSM) in order for simulating the mentioned behavior.So as to complete the basic information, the effect ofinitial imperfections and defects on the applied sections and the behavior ofpost-buckling strength has been surveyed through using non-linear analysis of ABAQUS software based on finite element method (FEM) with the assumption ofno effect of residual stress. Eventually, the accuracy and precision of reviewed DSM equations have been compared to the final amounts obtained from AISC regulations for columns with slender sections.

Genetic algorithm is a particular type of evolutionary algorithms in which the biologic techniques like genetic and mutation are used. As a matter of fact, Inspired by Darwinian principles of natural evolution to find optimal formula to forecast or adjust the pattern -these principles (Darwinian principles) are used. Genetic algorithm is a programming technique in which the genetic evolution is used as a pattern to solve the problem. The problem which has to be solved is the input in which based on a pattern - the solutions encoded and called the “fitness function“, each solution evaluates the candidates chosen randomly. An evolutionary algorithm is a sub-field of evolutionary computing to find the optimal solution which it has been considered for various problems. Along this, the concepts which are applicable in present paper are the concepts which are on the basis of computer science and Genetic science like the algorithm and various types of it, search, heuristic, the history of Genetic algorithm and Genetic science, Gene, Chromosome and inheritance. In present paper, it has been attempted to observe the application of Genetic algorithm in heat flow.

Empowerment makes staffs to think that organization and job belongs themselves and to be proud of working there. Empowerment of human resources is an essential issue, as a modern approach for internal motivation of job to release potential power of staffs and providing opportunities to show talents, powers and competence of individuals. On the other hand, empowerment would lead to improvement of service quality, validation of organization’s efficiency, and enhancement of staffs’ motivation. Hence, the organization would be able to cope with changes through including such committed and motivated staff. The main objective of the present study is to identify effectiveness of psychological empowerment on organizational commitment. Case study has been conducted on Steel Alborz Co Iran. Applied method in the present study has been field method, which have been used through questionnaire and survey method for data collection. Statistical population of the study has been 243 staffs of Steel Alborz Co and all population has been considered, since population size has been limited. The study includes 1 main hypothesis and 12 secondary hypotheses, which have been analyzed using two programs of SPSS and LISREL. Obtained results from the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between elements of psychological empowerment such as effectiveness, right to choose, job competence with emotional commitment.

According to the nature of industry, knowledge management as a very efficient tool to maintain the competitive position, can be used for innovative management and considered as a key factor for industry viability. Due to its potential, knowledge management is implemented and enforced in major industries. A broad and deep change in different aspects of human resources is needed to achieve industries vision. According to the workforce indicators in industries, empowerment and organizational knowledge are considered as core organizational functions. In present world, knowledge is considered as the most important capital for organizations; therefore, it is needed to apply modern knowledge management approaches regarding the staffs and organizational issues. Maintaining employees of organizations and breeding their learning capacity have decisive role in the success of organizations. Hence, it is needed to embed knowledge management in standard policies of organizations as physical resources management. Knowledge management is defined as systematically applying knowledge for organizational activities to achieve mission and goals of the organization. In fact, the main goal of knowledge management is to avoid repeating mistakes and make decisions based on organizational knowledge. In this article, it is attempted to concisely define the concept of knowledge management, models of knowledge creation and industries life cycle; also, their roles in development and growth of industries are expressed.

To study the effect of salinity experiment was performed in Astara region. Cultivars included Cultivated in two pieces of land in Astara: one with normal soil and the other with salty soil. Maize cultivars were experimented in three replications on the basis of randomized complete Block design. During the experiment, morphological characteristics concerning the plant growth, such as leaf numbers, Leaf length, Ear number, Ear weight, Seed weight in ear and Number of seed in row were measured. Results from the analysis of variance showed that there were no significant differences between different years. Between locations (normal and saline) in all traits, significant differences were seen. The greatest leaf numbers was seen in Zaqatala (13.96), K3653.2 (13.67) and S.C704 (13.28) and its least amount in Waxy (8.673) under the salty conditions. Salinity reduced the number of ears per plant. Between B73, Waxy and K3615.1 were not significantly different in normal and saline conditions. The maximum number of seeds in rows in Zaqatala, B73 and SC704 were observed that no significant difference was found between them.

Leadership styles are those important variables forming organizational behavior and the way of thinking in organization. Hence, it seems that there is a significant relationship between leadership styles and policies taken for organizations whereby improving the human resources is a way which manifests this relationship. This paper is aimed at investigating policy analysis in governmental organizations with an emphasis on modern leadership styles. The questionnaire and SPSS software have been used as essential tools in this paper. 54.5% of data collection is comprised of men, also bachelor degree is the mean education status which average work experience is about 6-15 years. It has been concluded that the factor ‘innovation’ among all other factors had the most common points with improvement. It was specified through variance analysis and hypothesis tests that among three leadership styles including transformational, transactional and participative leadership styles, participative leadership style with standard β value (0.496) influenced human force improvement the most.

The characterization and grading of glioma tumors, via image derived features, for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment response has been an active research area in medical image computing. This paper presents a novel method for automatic segmentation and grade detection of glioma from conventional T2 weighted MR images. Segmentation of the tumor was done using spatial domain filtering techniques. The accuracy of segmentation method was compared with Fuzzy c-means clustering technique and validated with manual Ground truth images which produced promising results. Feature extraction was done using Statistical texture analysis by computing first order statistics and gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) based second order statistical methods. Statistical significance of the features was determined by t-test and its corresponding p-value. A decision system was developed for the grade detection of glioma using these selected features and its p-value. The detection performance of the decision system was validated using the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. The diagnosis and grading of glioma using this non-invasive method can contribute promising results in medical image computing.

Training creative, skilled and educated students are efforts of the education system, and raising levels of students\' motivation is one of the ways to achieve this goal. The aim of this was study relationship between achievement motivation and academic success in high school students. In this study, the method was casual comparative and two boys and two girls\' high school was selected for sampling, and 50 subjects were randomly selected from each high school. The overall samples size was 200 subjects (100 male and 100 female high school students). Finally Achievement Motivation Test ACMT was performed. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between male and female students in terms of achievement motivation. In this research also it was found that there was a significant relationship between achievement motivation and academic success in female and male students; so that academic success increased with increasing achievement motivation. Percentage of achievement motivation in females was more than males in top class. 22 of females had high scores, this percentage in males was 19. Percent of motivation in males in the middle class and upper the average was more than females. In the down class, the achievement motivation was the same for male and female students.

The results from the parametric study reveal that the most important design features for energy saving are demand-controlled ventilation as well as limited glazing on the facade. Further energy-saving features are efficient lighting and office equipment which strongly reduce user-related electricity and cooling energy. Together, the simulation results suggest that about 48% energy can be saved compared to a new office building built accordingto the Swedish building code. Thus, it is possible, using a combination of simple and well-known building technologies and configurations, to have very low energy use in new office buildings. If renewable energy sources, such as solar energy and wind power, are added, there is a potential for the annual energy production to exceed the annual energy consumption and a net zero-energy building can be reached. One aspect of the results concerns user-related electricity, which becomes a major energy post in very low-energy offices and which is rarely regulated in building codes today. This results not only in high electricity use, but also in large internal heat gains and unnecessary high cooling loads given the high latitude and cold climate.

The classification of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) using artificial intelligence (AI) decision making systems has gained plenty of attention during recent years. Using this approach, we can differentiate patients with myocardial infarction (MI) from those with unstable angina (UA). The present study aims to develop an integrated method (i.e.; based on the feature selection and classification) for automatic classification of ACS types from clinically recorded data of patients who have reported to an emergency department. A dataset containing medical records of 809 patients suspected to suffer from ACS was used. For each subject, 266 clinical factors were collected. Initially medical feature selection was performed based on numerous interviews with cardiologists. Accordingly, 40 seminal attributes for classifying ACS were selected. A feature selection algorithm was also applied to find a subset of the features with the best classification accuracy in k-nearest neighbor classifier. This resulted in the reduction of features to seven. Eight different common pattern recognition tools for classification of ACS were subsequently employed. The classification performance of these classifiers was compared based on their accuracy and correctness, computed from their confusion matrixes. Among these methods, multi-layer perceptron showed the best performance with the 83.2% accuracy. An integrated classification approach based on AI and appropriate computerized feature selection algorithm can be used as an effective technique for ACS diagnosis and classification.

In this paper we introduce a new fuzzy Monte Carlo method for solving\nsystem of linear algebraic equations (SLAE) of the form Bx = f over the possibility\ntheory and max-min algebra, F = {[0, 1], = max,\n = min}. To solve the SLAE,\nwe use a fuzzy estimator and ergodic fuzzy Markov chains. This new approach works\neven for cases with coefficient matrix norm greater than one.

In this article , at first, we will investigate the approaches of pattern recognition and then we explain the importance of pattern recognition by its structural information which has been called structural pattern recognition method .In continue , we investigate one of the approaches for recognizing the noisy patterns which is called Lyon’s algorithm. This algorithm has been proposed by Lyon. This algorithm is used for recognizing string patterns and is an error correcting parser in context free grammars. In this paper we state disadvantages of Lyon’s algorithm and then introduce a new algorithm for its improvement. One of the problems of the Lyon algorithm is the cubic time complexity and the quadratic space complexity that we suggest a new algorithm with a new data structure for improving problems in the Lyon algorithm . a new algorithm by using linked list list data structure and some changes in procedure of the Lyon has reduced the time complexity from cubic to O(n*R) and also has reduced amount of wasting of the memory to the zero.
